I. Lawyers (Part-Time)
We are looking for qualified lawyers to join Umeed on a part-time basis. As a lawyer with Umeed, you will provide pro bono legal services to marginalized individuals in both civil and criminal cases.
Your expertise will help drive our efforts in dispute resolution, litigation, and legal advocacy, especially focusing on ADR mechanisms.
Commitment: Flexible part-time hours.
Location: Virtual and in-person (depending on case requirements).

II. Research Assistants (3 months, Virtual)
We are looking for law students to work as research assistants. This role involves legal research, case analysis, and supporting our lawyers in developing strategies for ongoing cases.
Research assistants will work entirely remotely, providing valuable insights that help shape our cases.
III. Internships (1 month)
Our internship program is ideal for law students seeking hands-on experience in legal aid work.
Interns will assist in case preparation, legal documentation, and may also participate in fieldwork to gain practical insights into dispute resolution. While most tasks can be done remotely, physical presence may be required for specific cases or events.
Duration: 1 month
Location: Virtual with some in-person opportunities (subject to project requirements)
